Day 1: Vancouver

Upon arrival in Vancouver, travelers will check into their downtown hotel and have free time to explore the city. They can visit iconic landmarks like Stanley Park, Gastown, or Granville Island before enjoying an optional dinner at one of Vancouver’s top restaurants.

The second day is dedicated to discovering Vancouver’s highlights. A guided sightseeing tour will take visitors to must-see attractions such as Capilano Suspension Bridge and Canada Place. In the evening, they can relax at leisure, with options like a sunset cruise or a visit to one of the city’s many breweries.

The rail journey begins as travelers board the luxurious train in the morning. They will enjoy breathtaking views of the Fraser Valley, the Coast Mountains, and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate. Instead of sleeper cars, guests stay overnight in a hotel in Whistler & in Quesnel before resuming their journey the next day. This allows for a comfortable night’s rest off the train, so you wake up refreshed and ready to experience more breathtaking scenery.

The train operates in both directions—westbound from Jasper to Vancouver and eastbound from Vancouver to Jasper. You can choose either route depending on your travel plans and preferences.

We strive to make your journey as seamless as possible for all guests with mobility or accessibility needs.

 

Boarding & Seating: Guests who need assistance can use a hydraulic lift or ramp to board. SilverLeaf coaches are single-level, while GoldLeaf coaches have an elevator for access between levels.

 

Wheelchair Accessibility: We accommodate guests transferring from a wheelchair to a regular seat in all service levels. Full-time wheelchair users can be accommodated in SilverLeaf Service with tie-downs.

 

Motorcoach & Sightseeing Tours: Hydraulic lifts are not available for motorcoach transfers, and sightseeing tour accessibility varies by provider—please check in advance.

 

Hotels & Service Animals: Accessible hotel rooms can be requested, but availability is limited. Service animals are welcome with prior notice.
